Submitting a portrait is optional but highly encouraged. If no photo is uploaded, we will use the student’s school ID photo (as long as it meets guidelines (“silly” ID photos will not be accepted).

  • Portrait Tips: Choose a simple, classic headshot with a neutral background. Photos should be vertical, with space above the head and shoulders.
    Please review the full portrait guidelines below before submitting.

    1. Go to yearbookforever.com.

    2. Search for 'Interlake High School.'

    3. Scroll down to the button that says 'yearbook snap — submit photos for your school's yearbook!'.

    4. Enter access code Saints2026. 

    5. Click on the button that says 'Upload your photo'

      PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THE PHOTO FILE IS NAMED: 'Last name, First name.jpg'. (If your photo file is called 'senior portrait' or something similar, it might have the same name as another student's photo!) Do not worry about choosing a category.

    5. Enter your first & last name and email address. (not the parent's name or photographer's name: the STUDENT'S name. Please use the first and last name that you'd like us to use in the yearbook. 

    6. Click 'submit photos.' PLEASE ONLY SUBMIT THE ONE PHOTO YOU'D LIKE US TO USE! 

  • Portrait Guidelines:

    • No part of your head/face is cut off or obstructed

    • A bare headshot; no hats or sunglasses in the picture  *Hijabs are allowed and acceptable

    • No props or animals in the picture

    • No double exposure, effect prints

    • Seniors' faces must be a full-faced shot (no side or partial profile)

    • No Snapchat filters or other filters are added to the image

    • No selfies

    • No friends, children, or significant others in the photo 

    • No hands signs (including peace signs)

    • No weapons, no drug/alcohol/inappropriate references or attire

    • No Watermarks

    • We must be able to see your face

    • Resolution: 300 DPI

    • Format: .tiff, .jpeg, .heic, or .png

    • Upload largest photo possible (25MB max).

    • Color: RGB or CMYK

    While we do accept a wide variety of poses and backgrounds, your portrait should adhere to community standards, and the yearbook staff reserves the right to decline photos they deem inappropriate. The portraits below are good examples of what you should be aiming for. It does NOT have to be taken by a professional photographer, but does need to look professional. There are many excellent photographers and studios in the Bellevue area and Interlake community.
